NVQ Diploma in Recruitment
By purchasing our Equality Plan, you will enable us to engage an apprentice who complete their Recruitment Consultant (Level 3) program over a period of 12 months . Through this apprenticeship, you will actively contribute to the financial support of a young individual from the black community, helping them enter the recruitment industry. The apprentice will assist our recruitment consultant in handling your contract. Throughout the duration of the contract, your hiring team will communicate with the apprentice (under the guidance of an experienced consultant) and witness their progress in real-time.
Course Overview:
Predominantly employed within the recruitment sector, the recruitment consultant’s role is to identify and secure job opportunities within client organisations. They attract candidates and successfully place them in those jobs in return for a fee. A recruitment consultant may focus on the supply of flexible workers, permanent placements or a combination of both. A career in recruitment as a recruitment consultant can appeal to those individuals who possess an entrepreneurial outlook. It provides the opportunity for reward and high earning potential. Many opportunities arise in the recruitment sector for personal and professional development, such as team leader and or managerial roles

How to establish, negotiate and agree on terms and conditions of business with clients

The different recruitment models (eg. Temporary, Permanent, Contract Recruitment, Executive Search etc)

How to ensure candidates and clients receive a professional and comprehensive recruitment service

How to develop successful sales techniques for recruitment

The principles of assessing people Candidate pay, client charge rates and contractual conditions within their sector in order to consult with and advise candidates and clients

The legal, regulatory and ethical requirements and appropriate codes of practice when recruiting Employee rights and responsibilities including equality, diversity and inclusion
The Training Will Include:

Face-to-face and/or remote workshops together with online learning

1:1 support from a Tutor who will visit your workplace

Progress reviews to be completed with your Tutor and line manager

Development of a work-based portfolio to evidence learning

End-point assessment (EPA)

Functional Skills English and/or maths Level 2, if required
Entry Requirements:
There are no formal entry requirements. In order to complete the apprenticeship, you will need English and maths at Level 2 (equivalent to GCSE grade 9-4), but if you don’t have these qualifications don’t let this stop you from undertaking the apprenticeship as we can help you gain the Level 2 requirement during your studies
Duration:
12 months plus 3 months EPA
Professional Membership:
Learners who complete the qualifications will be eligible for professional registration of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals or Institute of Recruiters.
