North Middlesex University Hospital is one of London’s busiest acute hospitals, serving over 300,000 people in Enfield, Haringey and beyond. The majority of our 3,000 staff live locally and we are proud of the services we provide for our diverse community. Our focus is on improvement. We’ve invested £200m in patient services in the last decade: new and newly refurbished buildings that are excellent places to work, bigger teams with more specialties and a modern academic centre and library to support staff learning. We’re a founder member of UCLPartners. We’ve recently become the first clinical partner of the Royal Free London group and we’re committed to working with them to improve patient services across north central London. This is an exciting development and the culmination of nearly two years of close working between the two organisations. Clinicians from both trusts have been sharing their expertise to help transform the standards of care our patients and local communities will receive in the months and years ahead.

As a clinical partner, North Mid will continue to work alongside the RFL to ensure there are consistent approaches to designing and delivering care based on evidence and best practice – nationally and internationally. It’s an exciting time for the hospital and our staff team: join us and be part of it.

Sanjay Nand Associate Consultant My path at Capgemini Business Analyst within a large defence client in October 2014…scoping project requirements and developing an internal business analysis practice. Working within shared service department in April 2014…delivering a performance management operating model. Supporting business change initiatives including training and communications in March 2014…for a large client in the railway infrastructure business.  Joined the Capgemini Technology Graduate Scheme in February 2014…working within the Business Technology Solutions (BTS) Business Unit My usual work day I rarely have two days that are the same – a perk of being a consultant. My role involves engaging with clients to scope out their business problem through various elicitation techniques. Once I’ve helped establish the business problem, I carry out further analysis to find the root cause of the problem, again engaging with various stakeholders. The best part of all is presenting my findings to the client and detailing the options we could use to solve the issue at hand. My life at Capgemini It’s been just over a year since I joined Capgemini, and I can honestly say it’s been a challenging yet rewarding experience. I’ve developed a whole new set of techniques and gained an amazing amount of insight into several large industries. I’ve experienced the Capgemini collaborative spirit on both client assignments and internal projects. A recent example of internal collaboration was when we organised a London technology talk to raise money for charity, as described under “Highlights of my career so far”. Places I have been I’m currently working in Reading at a client site. Previously I spent a few months at a shared services centre in Woking. I’ve been to London for numerous Capgemini-run events including co-innovation labs and “digital Friday” meetings. Highlights of my career so far A work-related highlight has been presenting to the senior management team at a large consultancy. This was one of my first projects at Capgemini and definitely one of the most exciting so far. I explored how a shared services division could operate in line with business counterparts and helped develop a performance-led target operating model. I was empowered to take on more and more responsibility throughout the project lifecycle. Eventually I presented a key strategic operating model to the management board. This level of challenge and responsibility early on has acted as a catalyst in developing my consulting skill set. As part of an entrepreneurial initiative called “Micro-Tyco” I worked in a team of five to transform £1 into as much money as possible in less than a month. One of our initiatives was organising a London technology talk: an evening event for industry experts to share their insights. I put myself forward to host the event and got the opportunity to present and network directly with some truly inspirational leaders in the area of technology. We raised over £1,200 and I’ve already been asked to organise another London technology talk. My personal life I joined Capgemini’s Business Technology Solutions team a few months after graduating with a degree in Information Technology Management for Business (ITMB) from Loughborough University. In the intervening few months, I travelled around Asia visiting Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong, among other places. Next on the travel agenda is Mexico! Projects I’m proud of Innovation Lead on graduate scheme I’m always looking for more innovative ways of working. Sharing and discussing innovative ideas/solutions with colleagues has led to my taking up the role of Innovation Lead within my business unit’s graduate scheme. Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent Experience level - Entry level / Graduate Location - London, UK Fun fact - Currently training for the Three Peaks Challenge https://www.capgemini.com/gb-en/careers/
