 Deep expertise and knowledge in D&I, with an established reputation for this in the
 Significant experience of working within a D&I consultancy, designing and leading major

client projects, liaising with clients up to leadership/board level.
 Demonstrable track record of successfully designing and developing new solutions in D&I.
 An understanding of the commercial impact of D&I.

 Commercial acumen.
 Exceptional coaching and facilitation skills.
 Able to develop and nurture great relationships with clients
 Able to influence, engage, get buy-in and change opinions up to a senior level.
 Strong organisational skills with a methodical and disciplined approach to planning and
running projects and all related administration.
 Exceptional verbal, listening and written communication skills.
 Good understanding of people and cultural change management challenges.
 Leadership skills to lead and manage teams of consultants.

The Principal Consultant role is focused on managing key client relationships and designing and leading major change programmes working alongside and with our permanent and Associate Consultants. 

 Operate as a strategic advisor to clients, working effectively up to board level.
 Lead the delivery of key client engagements 
solutions, with an emphasis on more strategic engagements and complex change management. Develop and apply bespoke solutions.
 Lead and collaborate Associates on projects
 Ensure the effective delivery of client engagements, to high a quality in good time and on
budget, whilst achieving great client outcomes and satisfaction.
 Manage project teams (potentially comprising both permanent employees and Associates) on
client engagements. Provide inclusive leadership, direction and model best practice.
 Work closely with the Head of Solution Design to refine the proposition and
solution set.
 Work closely with  teams to collaborate on joint client projects and
expand client profile for new and existing clients of BG and PMBusiness Development
 Contribute to the development of key accounts and the acquisition of new clients by
generating sales opportunities, scoping requirements, and working closely with the Account
Director through the BD and commercial negotiation process.
 Actively manage and develop a strong and highly effective network of personal contacts.
 Lead brand building and pro-active business development activity – hosting events, speaking at
conferences etc.
 Lead a D&I capability area and become known, both internally and externally, for this expertise. Develop the proposition and create thought leadership and collateral.
Internal Leadership
